Da Nang border guards present 200 gift packages to border community
PANO – The Border Post of Da Nang Port Border Gate under the Da Nang Municipal Border Guard Command coordinated with local benefactors from Hai Chau ward and Tr’hy Border Post to organize a charity program, titled “Providing gifts to disadvantaged people in Voong village, Hung Son commune,” on January 16 and 17.
At the event, the organizing units presented 200 gift packages, each valued at VND 400,000. The gifts included essential items such as rice, instant noodles, fish sauce, cooking oil, and other daily necessities. The total value of the aid reached VND 80 million.

Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, Colonel Van Duc Truong, Political Commissar of the Border Post of Da Nang Port Border Gate, extended his regards and best wishes to local residents. He inquired about their health and living conditions, shared sympathy for the hardships and losses caused by natural disasters, and encouraged the community to continue promoting solidarity, overcoming difficulties, and actively engaging in production and daily labor to stabilize their lives.
The meaningful gifts reflected the spirit of unity, compassion, and social responsibility of the officers and soldiers of the Border Post of Da Nang Port Border Gate, as well as the Party committees and local authorities of Hai Chau ward, toward the people of Hung Son commune. The activity contributed to joint efforts to help residents recover and gradually stabilize their livelihoods.
According to the organizers, recently, the Border Post of Da Nang Port Border Gate has regularly coordinated with local authorities and benefactors to carry out various charity and humanitarian programs. These activities have focused on supporting disadvantaged people and households affected by natural disasters and flooding in border and coastal areas of Da Nang city.
