The event reflected the care and responsibility of the corps’ officers, soldiers, and workers toward key grassroots figures, while helping strengthen military-civilian solidarity and build a strong “people’s heart posture” along the Central Highlands border region.
During the event, the Corps 15 Command and Defense-Economic Unit 72 presented more than 40 gifts to village patriarchs, village heads, Party cell secretaries, and outstanding workers in the three communes.
Le Trong Phuc, Chairman of the Ia Dom Commune People’s Committee, expressed gratitude for the attention and support from the Ministry of National Defense, Corps 15, and Defense-Economic Unit 72 toward local authorities and residents. He said the corps’ practical activities had contributed to improving living conditions, strengthening military-civilian ties, and maintaining stability in the border area.
At the meeting, Corps 15’s Commander Major General Hoang Van Sy asked about local residents’ living conditions and production activities, while recognizing the contributions of village patriarchs, village heads, and Party cell secretaries in promoting military-civilian unity and maintaining political security and social order in the border region.
He expressed hope that respected community leaders would continue working closely with local leadership and Corps 15’s units to encourage residents to develop the local economy, preserve ethnic cultural traditions, and build increasingly united and prosperous communities.

Village patriarch Siu Deo from Mok Den village in Ia Dom commune said local residents were grateful for the continued support from the Ministry of National Defense, Corps 15, and Defense-Economic Unit 72.
“The soldiers have helped strengthen people’s trust and connection with the unit. We will continue encouraging residents to follow the Party’s guidelines and the State’s laws and policies, unite to build stronger villages, and work with the troops to maintain peace along the border,” he said.
As part of the program, Corps 15 coordinated with local authorities to hold a ground-breaking ceremony for the construction of a traditional Rong communal house in Ia Dom commune.
