Coast guards of Region 4 combine exercise and mass mobilization work

During the exercise, participating ships handled different situations. They patrolled, inspected, monitored, and maintained law enforcement at sea. They also fought to safeguard national sovereignty over sea and islands, prevented armed pirates, conducted search and rescue operations, and fire-fighting activities.

On the occasion, participating coast guards disseminated information and distributed leaflets on national sovereignty over sea and islands, and presented 600 national flags to local fishermen. The force also handed over 35 gifts, each worth VND 1 million, to disadvantaged families in the locality and continued to sponsor three poor students with good academic records.
