Coast guard saves troubled fishing boat
PANO – Ship CSB 4033 of the Coast Guard Region 2 Command under the Vietnam Coast Guard has successfully towed a distressed trawler ashore.
Previously, two-crew-member boat DNa-90364 TS was heavily damaged and went adrift due to engine failure while fishing in the waters near Chan May cape of Thua Thien-Hue province.
After receiving the trawler’s distress call, the command assigned ship CSB 4033 to conduct the rescue mission.
Later, the rescue team towed the ship ashore.
