Distressed fisherman saved at sea
PANO – The Vietnam Maritime Search and Rescue Coordination Center successfully took ashore a wounded fisherman due to a labor accident on December 14.
Earlier, at 15:35 on December 13, fisherman Nguyen Van Son from trawler QNg 94848 TS, captained by Nguyen Kim, fell from a great height while fishing about 18 nautical miles off northeast of Paracel Islands (Da Nang City) and became unconscious.

After receiving the information, the center sent Ship SAR 412 to the scene for a rescue mission.
At 2:00 on December 14, the rescue team approached the trawler, gave the distressed fisherman first aid and then took him ashore for further treatment.
