Border guards present gifts to needy students in Ea Sup district
PANO - Yok M’re Border Post of the Dak Lak provincial Border Guard Command, in collaboration with the province’s Youth Union Chapter, held a program on May 31 at the Primary School of Ea Sup town of Ea Sup district to present gifts to local needy students with good academic results.
During the program, the organizing panel handed over three bicycles, worth VND 1.6 million each, to three needy students who obtained significant results during the 2021-2022 academic year.
At the event, H Jun Lie Hra, a fifth-grade student, expressed her delight at receiving the gift. She said that the bicycle will encourage her to obtain more good results in the next academic year. H Jun Lie Hra promised to study hard to deserve the care of the border troops.
According to Commissar of Yok M’re Border Post Major Bui Xuan Khoa, together with managing and firmly protecting national sovereignty and security, the unit has over the past time conducted practical activities and programs to share difficulties with people in the border commune of Ea Bung, Ea Sup district. In particular, the border post has launched economic development models to help local people eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, given monthly allowance to two adopted students, and organized the “Sentimental Jar of Rice” model to support needy households.
Major Bui Xuan Khoa added that in the coming time the unit will continue launching other economic development models and present more gifts to policy beneficiaries and needy households in border areas.
