Free bikes for disadvantaged children in Nghe An
PANO - On April 12, the National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC), in collaboration with AIA Vietnam Life Insurance Co., Ltd., presented 250 bicycles and five life insurance contracts to 255 disadvantaged children in Nghe An province.

The activity is part of the fourth “Life Journey” program to offer 1,500 bikes and 60 life insurance contracts to disadvantaged children across the country. This is the fourth consecutive year AIA has organized the “Life Journey” program for needy children in Nghe An province.
Speaking at the event, Deputy Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs Dao Hong Lan highly appreciated the AIA's support for needy Vietnamese children.
Wayne Besant, CEO of AIA Vietnam, said, "Through the program, we wish to help disadvantaged Vietnamese children to continue their education."
This program includes a wide range of activities jointly held by AIA Vietnam and UNICEF Vietnam, local authorities, and provinces’ children sponsorship funds since 2014. Up to now, the program has benefited thousands of needy children in more than 50 provinces and cities.
