Disadvantaged children in Can Tho receive bikes
PANO - The National Fund for Vietnamese Children (NFVC) and AIA Vietnam launched the “Journey of Life” program in Can Tho city on December 12.
During the program, they presented 70 bikes, five life insurance contracts of VND 20 million each, and other gifts to 75 students with adversity in their life.
The program, the 19th of its kind in 2019, was to celebrate the 100th founding anniversary of AIA Group and the 19th year of AIA Vietnam.
Launched in 2014, the “Journey of Life” program has provided poor children in over 50 cities and provinces nationwide with more than 10,000 bikes and 300 life insurance contracts. In 2019 alone, over 3,000 bikes and 100 life insurance contracts were given to needy children throughout the country.
Apart from this meaningful program, the NFVC has partnered with AIA Vietnam in other community activities such as disaster relief, scholarship-granting, lifebuoy-school bags presentations, free health counselling and medical provisions, sports festivals and humanitarian blood donations.
