According to Political Commissar of the Dak Nong provincial Border Guard Command Senior Colonel Nguyen Trung Kien, thanks to the program and project, many students have overcome difficulties and obtained high academic results. Notably, many of them have entered universities and colleges.

The “Paving the way to school for children – Border guards’ foster child” program and the “Military troops paving the way to school for children” project are practical activities to pay gratitude to ethnic minority people who had provided shelter and support to troops to firmly safeguard national sovereignty and maintaining security in border areas for the development of the Central Highlands province.

These activities are also to affirm the close solidarity between border guard troops and those living in border areas.

Over the past time, the provincial border guard force has also provided support to Cambodian students, contributing to strengthening the traditional friendship between the two countries in general and troops and people of Dak Nong and Cambodia’s Mondulkiri province in particular.
