Colonel Pham Van Nam, the military school’s Deputy Political Director, reported that immediately after receiving information about the flooding in Tuy Phuoc commune, the army corps instructed the school to mobilize officers, soldiers, and cadets to support local residents.

Upon receiving orders, more than 60 officers, soldiers, and cadets from Battalion 4 of the school, along with necessary equipment, were dispatched to heavily inundated areas of Tuy Phuoc commune to carry out rescue duties.

“When we arrived, many houses were already deeply flooded. Elderly people and children were trapped and isolated, facing extremely dangerous conditions. In that situation, the officers, soldiers, and cadets of the military school braved hardship and danger, rescuing 11 isolated individuals and evacuating multiple households to safe locations,” said Col. Nam.

Below are photos of officers, soldiers, and cadets of the Military School of Army Corps 34 rescuing and evacuating residents to safety.
