Nguyen Dinh Tien, Deputy Commander of MR5 and vice-chief author of the project, attended the workshop together with representatives of the Defense Ministry and MR5, together with many scientists and experts.

Reportedly, the project has been carefully implemented over the past two years with a focus on the role of the local armed forces in implementing military defense missions and socio-economic development tasks in the Central Highlands region.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and proposed a number of measures to complete the project on schedule. On behalf of the project authors, General Phuong promised to take all of the opinions into consideration and make possible adjustments to complete it as planned.
