PANO – The board for training fire prevention and firefighting under the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) on October 31st held a firefighting exercise at a building of the General Department of Politics to hone troops’ fire prevention and fighting capability.

Forces from the General Department of Politics and the General Staff’s Brigade 144 and Department of Logistics performed in four stages, including detecting the blaze, getting the fire under control, investigating the cause and dealing with the consequences, and reporting to the General Staff’s leaders.
Thanks to their thorough preparations and good skills, they were able to safely and successfully complete the task.
At the end of the exercise, the organizer pointed out shortcomings to help the participants enhance future training.
