Vietnamese Teacher’s Day observed at Political Academy
PANO - The Military Political Academy, on November 15, held a ceremony in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982-2022). Deputy Chief of the General Department of Political Affairs (GDP) Major General Nguyen Van Gau attended the event.
The ceremony also drew the participation of the academy’s Director Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Bao, and Political Commissar Lieutenant General Pham Tien Dung.
Delivering his speech at the ceremony, General Dung affirmed that during its 71 years of history, the academy has treasured and acknowledged great contribution of the instructors who have overcome difficulties to train many generations of troops.
Reportedly, in recent years, the education and training work of the academy has been drastically and comprehensively implemented.

Besides, it has also cooperated with education institutions inside and outside the military; opened foreign language training courses; renovated training contents while its instructors and cadres all have firm political stance and capability according to the national-level standards.
Addressing the event, General Gau hailed and congratulated the academy’s achievements over the past time.

He also affirmed that the great efforts and achievements would contribute to building the academy into an education and training hub for political officers in the military and the nation.

He also requested the school to continue to grasp Party’s and State’s viewpoints, guidelines and policies in renovating education and training work, meeting all requirements in building the military in the current context while conducting digital transformation in the period of 2021-2025, with a vision to 2030, among others.
