For recruits, besides cultural activities and study sessions on the weekend, they also hope to meet and receive encouragement from their relatives. As regulated, the unit has contacted the recruits’ families and relatives in advance to accurately determine the number of visitors and ensure the quality of the activities.

Besides, the unit also organizes many other activities each weekend, including physical training, cultural activities, and troops' birthday celebrations, aiming to strengthen solidarity and promote their youthful spirit of overcoming challenges. Additionally, recruits participate in learning about the unit’s traditions, studying the Party’s guidelines, and updating their knowledge of the State’s laws, deserving to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers.

Major Bui Minh Lich, Deputy Political Chief of Regiment 48, said that weekend activities contributed to bringing joy to officers and soldiers, helping them feel relaxed after intense training, study, and work, while creating a positive atmosphere and strengthening solidarity within the military unit.
