Various activities held to celebrate late Party chief Le Duan’s birthday
PANO – Flotilla 202 under the Coast Guard Region 2 Command, in coordination with local relevant organs, organized meaningful programs on the occasion of late Party General Secretary Le Duan’s 115th birthday (April 7, 1907), on April 1, in Quang Tri province.
Accordingly, the flotilla mobilized 35 troops to clean up the environment and collect waste, and offered incense at the memorial house of late Party General Secretary Le Duan in his hometown in Trieu Thanh commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province.

In addition, the unit also held a contest on the life and revolutionary cause of the late Party leader, and presented 15 gifts (worth VND 300,000 each) to needy students of Trieu Thanh Primary School in Trieu Thanh district.

The meaningful activities contributed to paying tribute to great achievements of late General Secretary Le Duan in the cause of national liberation, construction and defense while educating and raising revolutionary ideals and traditions, national pride, and great solidarity among their troops.
