Units organize swearing-in ceremonies for new recruits
PANO - Various military units on May 26 held swearing-in ceremonies for their new recruits.
A new recruit taking an oath
After three months of training, new recruits of the armed forces of Military Region 3 (MR3), including Brigades 242, 454, Division 395, Regiment 50 of the Hai Phong City Military Command and MR3 Military School have been fully aware of the Fatherland protection missions, the army’s missions and combat ideals, and hostile forces’ plots. They have also heightened their responsibilities to deserve to be Uncle Ho’s soldiers.
To date, almost all new recruits have met their training requirements with flying colors and absolute safety, especially in grenade-throwing, explosive-applying and AK-shooting.
At the oath-taking ceremony hosted by Regiment 692 of the Hanoi Capital Command’s Division 301, newly-recruited soldiers were highly appreciated for their task performance. The good outcomes resulted from the unit’s good preparations on training methods and contingent of quality instructors and close and scientific implementation.
Meanwhile, new recruits of Infantry Regiment 897 of the Soc Trang provincial Military Command have surmounted difficulties, promoted solidarity to complete the three-month training program. Apart from curricular subjects, the unit has provided their new soldiers with swimming skills.
100 per cent of new recruits of Regiment 1 under Military Region 4’s Division 324, Brigade 962 of Military Region 9 and Infantry Regiment 974 of the Khanh Hoa provincial Military Command have well taken in basic knowledge of the army, promoted their political stance, and techno-tactical skills. Most of them have reached the training goals with flying colors.
