PANO – The Military Science and Technology Institute under the Ministry of National Defense on August 31 handed over a number of its invested projects to local authorities and people in Ba Vi district, Hanoi.
Accordingly, these projects include two water refinery systems in Cam Linh commune primary school and Tan Hong commune secondary school; two computing rooms in Tay Dang A town primary school and Tan Hong commune secondary school and a gratitude house for martyr’s wife Phung Thi Khang in Vat Lai commune.

On this occasion, the institute also presented two DoctorHome physiotherapy machines to Ba Vi district’s medical center and 30 gifts (worth VND 1 million each) to policy beneficiaries. These social activities cost over VND 1 billion.
* The same day, the Gia Lai provincial Military Command handed over a gratitude house to Major Ksor Truih’s family in Chu Drang commune (Krong Pa district, Gia Lai province). Major Ksor Truih has been working at the Krong Pa district Military Command. The 96sq.m house was built at a cost of VND 140 million, including VND 70 million from the “Gratitude returning” fund and the remainder from Ksor’s family. From now till the end of this year, the Gia Lai provincial Military Command will build and offer three houses of gratitude to its needy officers and non-commissioned officers’ families.
* Meanwhile in Ho Chi Minh City, the Phu Nhuan district Military Command in association with the city’s Urban Drainage Co. Ltd. inaugurated and handed over a home of compassion to Rokygiah’s family in ward 17, Phu Nhuan district. The 35sq.m house was built with corrugated roofing and brick walls. Part of the money was donated by the company and the remainder from troops, locals and the family.
On this occasion, the units also presented household utensils to the family.
