Accordingly, units and agencies are to promote preferential policies for national contributors as defined in the Ordinance on policies for national contributors and Directive No.02/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on strengthening the implementation of preferential policies for national contributors.

Proactive collaboration with ministries, sectors, and local authorities should be strengthened to review, make recommendations, and resolve issues left behind from the resistance wars such as the verification of identities of martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, and those exposed to Agent Orange/Dioxin when joining resistance wars... Inspection and monitoring of the policies’ implementation should be enhanced to ensure there would be no mistakes.

Military units, agencies and enterprises should promote synergy and mobilize all resources to better care for national contributors via practical activities such as building gratitude houses, providing free medical check-ups, medicines and treatment, etc.
