Training course on youth work opened for whole-army staff
PANO – The General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) opened a training course on youth work for the whole-army officers in 2017 at the Political Officers Training School on October 2.
The month-long course, focusing on skills and competence of youth work, was expected to improve participants’ knowledge to help them effectively provide advice to superior officers and conduct youth movements in their units in the future.

Trainees participating the course will study three contents, including the general theories (namely the Marxism–Leninism, the thoughts of Ho Chi Minh, the Party’s viewpoints on youth work and the regulations and operations of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union’s organizations in the VPA), the skills and competence of youth work in the VPA, and fact-finding tours to units at the grassroots levels.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Du, Political Commissar of the Political Officers Training School, affirmed that the course would provide an opportunity for the whole-army youth cadres to exchange experience, contribute to improving the efficiency of the youth work, build strong and firm youth unions and fulfill the central political missions of all units.
