Training course on political theory held

The online event, connecting 22 locations, was attended by Deputy Political Commissar of the General Department of Logistics Major General Nguyen Van Cuong.

During the training course, delegates studied some issues related to socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh’s thought against individualism, and prevention of “Peace evolution” scheme of hostile forces at present.

Speaking at the event, Major General Nguyen Van Cuong affirmed that over the past time the General Department of Logistics has paid special attention to political theory training with various guidelines and measures creatively issued and applied. The efforts have contributed to raising political awareness of Party members in the whole general department.

Delegates at the event

The deputy political commissar of the general department asked instructors and scientists to update the general department’s key officers and orators on new and controversial issues and topics that hostile forces make use of in an attempt to distort Vietnam’s policies.

He urged participants to heighten their responsibility to acquire knowledge, strictly observe the class’s regulations, and effectively and creatively apply acquired knowledge to implementing their assigned tasks in the future.

After the opening ceremony, Senior Colonel Le Xuan Thuy, Head of the Faculty of Scientific Socialism of the Military Political Academy, delivered a report, themed “Socialism and the path to socialism in Vietnam.”
