During the four-day event, trainees studied contents of the Government’s Decree No.66 regulating the implementation of the law on Natural Disaster Prevention and Control, guidance on the establishment of vanguard teams on natural disaster response, and policies for natural disaster response forces, among others.
With essential search and rescue skills provided, the drill aims to prepare local troops for effective response to natural disasters and incidents.
To evaluate the results of the drill, the provincial military command also held a competition, during which participating forces used “on-the-spot” rescue vehicles and equipment to evacuate people and their property to safer places.
