PANO - Thach Anh Construction Joint-Stock Company officially transferred the technology to make high intensity concrete from gravel, sea sand, corallite, sea water, cement and additives to the Naval High Command on March 14th.

According to General Director of Thach Anh, Duong Ngoac Binh, the concrete can suffer high pressure and is proof against seawater, so it is suitable for the construction of embankments and ports in Vietnamese islands.

He also said that concrete to build projects in islands is produced on the technology at a much lower cost.

In addition, it can meet other technical requirements for sea projects, he added.  

Under the signed agreement, the Company will transfer the concrete producing technology to the Defence Ministry for free.

At the signing ceremony, Deputy-Defence Minister, Command of the Naval High Command, Admiral Nguyen Van Hien said that the technology will help the force considerably reduce costs and efforts for the construction of projects in the sea and islands.
