Speaking at the ceremony, Senior Colonel Ngo Anh Thu recalled PAN’s development and its key missions over the past time. He affirmed that along with performing political tasks as the organ of the Central Military Commission and Vietnamese Ministry of National Defense and the voice of the armed forces and people, over the past years, the newspaper has cooperated with organizations, businesses, and benefactors to conduct social activities in localities across the country.
Notably, before the lunar New Year, PAN cooperates with the Kind Heart Foundation to hand over gifts to needy people. Ahead of the upcoming lunar New Year 2023, the newspaper and the Kind Heart Foundation have worked together to hand over 1,500 Tet gifts, worth VND 900 million in total, to needy households in Dien Bien, Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Ha Nam, and Thanh Hoa.

Those gifts are expected to help needy people have a cozy lunar New Year.
The PAN’s deputy editor-in-chief affirmed that in the coming time the newspaper’s Party Committee and Editorial Board will direct agencies to foster cooperation with sponsors and benefactors to effectively carry out activities to support policy families, national contributors, and those in need.

On the occasion, Senior Colonel Ngo Anh Thu extended New Year greetings to officials and people in Tam Duong and Tan Uyen districts in particular and Lai Chau province in general. He expected that people in the province will promote unity to successfully carry out the Party’s guidelines and State’s policies and law and achieve the province’s economic development targets, gradually raising people’s living standards and building a prosperous Lai Chau.
