PANO - A special interactive TV program themed "Glorious Uncle Ho's soldiers" was aired on December 12th connecting 5 localities of Cao Bang, Hanoi, Quang Binh, Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City. As one of the activities to celebrate the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22nd 1944 - December 22nd 2014) and the 25th whole people’s national defense day (December 22nd 1989 - December 22nd 2014), the program deeply depicted the glorious missions of the heroic Vietnam People's Army over the past 70 years.
The program opened with the images of 34 members of the Vietnam Armed Propaganda Unit for National Liberation, leaving deep emotion to the audience. 70 years ago, on December 22nd 1944, the Vietnam Armed Propaganda Unit for National Liberation, the predecessor of the Vietnam People's Army, was established. After 70 years of establishment, combat and development, the army has been continuously developing, making numerous feats of arms and winning the love of the people.

Despite the bitter cold of winter in Hanoi, the 100 year-old Professor, Labor Hero Vu Khieu, was delighted to attend the program. He shared that since its establishment, the Vietnam People's Army has fought thousands of battles and flew the victory flag in the sky for a thousand times. Over the past 70 years, the army has followed Uncle Ho's teaching to stay loyal to the nation and the people.
Meanwhile, in Ho Chi Minh City, the only one alive member of the 34 members of the Vietnam Armed Propaganda Unit for Natonal Liberation also attended the program with great pride. Revolutionary veteran To Dinh Cam proudly said, the Vietnam People’s Army has increasingly been growing over the past 70 years and he believed that the army will continue to develop to firmly defend the nation.
At the end of the program, Military Zone 7 organized parade and fireworks display, highlighting the glory and pride of the Uncle Ho's soldiers of the heroic Vietnam People's Army.
