This activity was within the framework of the “March in border areas” jointly organized by the Central Committees of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and Vietnam Youth Federation, the Vietnam Border Guard Command and the Military Youth Advisory Board.

The flag-saluting ceremony aimed to raise troops, youth union members, and local people’s awareness of and heighten their responsibility in joining hands with the border guard force to safeguard border security and national sovereignty over sea and islands in the new situation.

Distributing leaflets to students

On the same day, leaders of the Vietnam Border Guard Command attended the dissemination activity conducted by Tam Quang Border Post at High School No.2 in Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province.

During the event, Tam Quang Border Post disseminated information about the Vietnam Border Guard Law and distributed leaflets to more than 500 teachers and students.
