Soldier admitted to Party during exercise
PANO - During the recent live-fire tactical exercise in 2024 conducted by the Air Defense - Air Force Service (ADAF), the Party Cell of Company 2, Battalion 81, Regiment 238, Division 363, held a Party member admission ceremony for Private First Class Chiu Van Nguyen, a Dao ethnic minority people from Dien Xa commune, Tien Yen district, Quang Ninh province.
The ceremony was solemnly held right at the unit’s encampment area. Under the Party and national flags, and the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, comrade Chiu Van Nguyen took the oath, pledging to study and follow President Ho Chi Minh’s thought, morality, and lifestyle, and be determined to strive and make contribution to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the military building mission.

During their stay at the National Shooting Range Region 1, Chiu Van Nguyen overcame difficulties and worked closely with his comrades to fulfill all assigned missions with absolute safety, contributing to the achievements of Battalion 81 as it was presented the “Excellent Shooting Unit” flag by the ADAF commander.
After the ceremony, Private First Class Chiu Van Nguyen shared, “Being admitted to the Party is a great honor for me and my family, marking a special milestone and an unforgettable memory in my military life. I vow to keep studying, training, and striving to build the unit, upholding the pioneering and exemplary role of a Party member, and deserving the trust of the unit’s leaders and my comrades.”
Talking about comrade Chiu Van Nguyen, Political Commissar of Company 2 First Lieutenant Trieu Xuan Hung held that the soldier is an outstanding example in carrying out the unit’s duties. “During his training, he has demonstrated his enthusiasm, responsibility, and willingness to support his comrades. Being admitted to the Party during this exercise is the result of his tireless efforts,” added Lieutenant Hung.
