Brigade 74 titled “Hero of People’s Armed Forces”

PANO – Brigade 74 of the General Department II on March 20^th held a solemn ceremony in Da Nang City to receive the “Hero of People’s Armed Forces” title for their feats of arms in the renewal process and to mark its 67^th founding anniversary (March 20^th, 1947).

In wartime, the unit greatly contributed to the resistance war against foreign invaders to defend national territory and international obligation.

For its achievements, the unit was presented with “Pure and Strong Party Committee” title for 10 consecutive years and recognized as an outstanding unit in the whole army in studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

8 of the unit’s groups and individuals were awarded the “Hero of People’s Armed Forces” title by the Party and State in acknowledgement of their achievements in training and combat.
