PANO - As many as 20 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops sacrificing in Cambodia battlefields while serving their international obligation were gathered by the search team K73 of Long An Provincial Military Command in the first drive of the 2014-2015 dry season from last November 10th to this January 7th.

Only one of the sets of remains was identified as Tran Thi Do, a nurse from the command and a native in Trang Bang district, Tay Ninh province. Do sacrificed in December 1972.
As scheduled, the K73 will return home to welcome the Lunar New Year of 2015 and resume their work in Cambodia after the Tet holidays.
So far, the search team has gathered 2,028 sets of remains of Vietnamese volunteer troops and 156 of them were identified.
