Preparations made for ASEAN Armies Rifle Meet
PANO - On October 27, at the National Military Training Center No.4, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia chaired a conference to inspect preparations for the opening and closing ceremonies of the upcoming 30th ASEAN Army Rifle Meet (AARM-30) in Vietnam.
During the event, participating forces performed all contents according to the script of the ceremonies.
Accordingly, the opening ceremony includes a parade of participating contingents, AARM flag raising ceremony, handing over flags to participating contingents, and an artistic performance of the Vietnamese military art troupe.
Meanwhile, the closing ceremony will feature results of the competition and ranks of participating contingents, awarding outstanding contingents; AARM flag lowering and AARM flag handover ceremony; and an artistic program.

On inspecting preparations for AARM-30, General Nghia hailed and acknowledged the great efforts of the functional units.
He also requested the competition's organizing board to continue to check all preparations for the opening and closing ceremonies, contributing to spreading the beautiful image of the Vietnamese country, culture, traditions, people and military to international friends.
AARM-30 is an important event to affirm Vietnam’s activeness in international integration, expressing its determination to promote cooperation among ASEAN countries’ armed forces, contributing to maintaining peace, stability and sustainable development of each country in the region and the world.
