People’s Army Cinema reviews its operation
PANO – The People’s Army Cinema has been confered with the Order of National Defence, 3rd class, on the 50th anniversary of its founding, its traditional day, August 17th.

PANO – The People’s Army Cinema has been confered with the Order of National Defence, 3rd class, on the 50th anniversary of its founding, its traditional day, August 17th.
Present at the event was Lieutenant-General Nguyen Tuan Dung, Deputy Head of the Political General Department, and representatives from army units and veterans of the People’s Army Cinema.
Over the past 50 years, the People’s Army Cinema produced 1,232 films including documentary films, military science-training films and movies. Many of them won valuable prizes from both domestic and foreign movie festivals.
The People’s Army Cinema also stored and protected valuable films about President Ho Chi Minh and various activities of army units.
Speaking at the ceremony, Lieutenant-General Nguyen Tuan Dung praised the People’s Army Cinema’s achievements and urged the unit to improve the quality of its products.
