Hai expressed his wish while visiting and congratulating the newspaper on June 16 on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21).

Major General Pham Van Huan, Secretary of the newspaper’s Party committee, Editor-in-Chief of the PAN thanked Hanoi’s leadership and people for their due concern and support for military press workers in general and those from the PAN in particular.

Gen. Huan also briefed Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee on the PAN’s developments over the past 67 years. Huan stressed that the PAN was honored to be named by Uncle Ho and conferred with the titles: Hero of the People’s Armed Forces (in 2000) and Labor Hero (in 2010) and other noble awards. Moreover, the PAN is defined to develop as a multimedia agency. Besides, it has reflected all aspects of the country, especially important political events of the Party, State and army and boosted popularization on the capital city’s socio-economic development, security and defense reinforcement.

The newspaper has also maintained its strength in foiling hostile forces’ “peaceful evolution” schemes and multiplying good exemplary roles.

Highlighting the PAN for its increasingly gaining the trust of the Party, State and people, Hai emphasized the newspaper’s articles which have orientations on public opinions and multidimensional information on the country and Hanoi’s socio-economic development.

He hoped that the PAN continues bringing into full play its tradition, boost solidarity among its personnel and build a contingent of reporters with firm political stance, high expertise, well using modern communication equipment in order to achieve all assigned missions.
