Over 3,000 trees planted in Military Academy of Logistics
PANO - The Military Academy of Logistics, on February 4, launched a tree-planting festival on the occasion of the lunar New Year 2023.
Addressing the event, Major General Nguyen Van Kien, Deputy Director of the academy, affirmed that in response to the tree-planting festival in tribute to Uncle Ho, troops of the academy always actively plant and take care of trees, thereby practically concretizing the Government’s program “For a green Vietnam” to plant one billion trees.

Reportedly, in 2022 alone, the academy planted nearly 4,000 trees to protect the environment and beautify the barracks.

During the event, Major General Nguyen Van Kien requested the whole school to educate its troops about the significance of the tree-plating movement while encouraging them to further plant and take care of trees.
After the launching ceremony, over 600 troops of the academy planted more than 3,000 trees in the unit’s barracks and training fields.
