In the framework of the program, the HCYU Central Committee handed over more than VND 11.7 billion to Hoa Binh province, 20 gifts to policy and needy households, and 20 gifts to needy youths in Thach Yen commune.

* A delegation of the Naval Service, led by its Political Commissar Vice Admiral Nguyen Van Bong, visited and joined a tree-planting festival in Naval Commando Brigade 126.

Addressing the event, Vice Admiral Nguyen Van Bong requested the unit to plant more trees for wood and fruits in the area. On the occasion, the brigade planted more than 11,000 trees.

* At Regiment 316, the Military Region 2 Command held a tree-planting festival. As scheduled, the region’s affiliated units will plant more than 118,000 trees on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony, the region’s Commander Lieutenant General Pham Hong Chuong asked its affiliated units to promote dissemination work to raise troops’ awareness of tree planting and afforestation.

* A similar program was held by the Ha Giang provincial Border Guard Command to call on its troops to plant more trees in the areas where they are stationed.

Earlier, its affiliated units also jointly plant nearly 10,000 trees.

* Regiment 224 (Division 375, Air Defense - Air Force Service), in coordination with relevant forces in the area where they are stationed, launched a tree-planting program in the Spring 2023. Accordingly, over 1,000 trees were planted around the unit on this occasion.
