PANO – Minister of National Defence, General Phung Quang Thanh, chaired the ministry’s online conference to disseminate the resolutions of the 7th Conference of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The conference, held on July 24th and 25th at the Headquarters of the Ministry of National Defence, was networked with 32 military units nationwide.

The seventh conference of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee wrapped up in Hanoi on May 11. During the ten-day gathering, presided over by Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, the Central Committee considered, decided and gave instructions on a number of issues, including the continued renovation and perfection of the political system, reforming and enhancing the Party leadership in mass mobilization, and the amendments to the 1992 Constitution.

Addressing the conference, General Phung Quang Thanh stressed the importance of the resolutions and asked the participants to focus their discussions on clarifying viewpoints and guidelines of the resolutions.

He also asked the participants to grasp through key contents and guidelines of the resolutions to advise Party committees at all levels to prepare plans and measures to overcome their weaknesses.

The general requested Party committees throughout the army to thoroughly grasp the resolutions to better their assigned tasks.
