Non-commissioned officer returns belongings to owners
PANO - Senior Lieutenant Nguyen Van Tri, a non-commissioned officer of Armored Company 74 of the Phu Yen Provincial Military Command, returned a wallet with important papers and cash to Nguyen Thanh Ngan, who lives in 427 Nguyen Van Linh street, Phu Lam ward, Tuy Hoa city.

Previously, Tri picked up the wallet on the motorway passing Hoa Thanh commune, Dong Hoa district when bringing his son back home on June 22 evening. He found out that there were VND 8 million in cash and many important personal papers named Nguyen Thanh Ngan inside the wallet.
The next day, Tri reported the case to his commanders to find and return the wallet to rightful owner. Receiving his belongings, Ngan felt happy and intended to give the officer some money in reward for his good deed. However, Tri denied and said that all soldiers would do the same as him.
Tri was proposed to get an unexpected reward from the provincial military command for his good deed. Tri has set an outstanding example for other troops of the unit to follow, said Captain Nguyen Van Thai, Political Commissar of Armored Company 74.
