The medical units provided emergency aid to more than 6,600 people, free health check-ups and medicines for nearly 85,000 people, treated over 16,000 patients and conducted surgeries on 12,500 patients. The beneficiaries were mainly troops and people on islands as well as local fishermen and fishery businesses operating at sea.

Over the past years, the military medical forces working at sea and on islands have cooperated closely with relevant units to give first aid and move patients with severe illnesses on time to the mainland. The Navy also asked the Ministry of Defense to send 62 helicopters to fly patients offshore to the mainland for further treatment.
