MR5’s delegation inspects combat readiness in Central Highlands
PANO – A delegation of Military Region (MR) 5, led by its Commander Lieutenant General Nguyen Long Cang, inspected the combat readiness of units stationed in Kon Tum and Gia Lai provinces, on January 17.

The commander praised the units for their active and thorough preparations for the Lunar New Year festival for their troops, and pointed out shortcomings to help them raise the efficiency of their task implementation.
He asked the units to grasp and strictly implement instructions on combat readiness, keep in touch with local situation, and prevent fire during the upcoming long holiday. They were also requested to manage their troops’ execution of military discipline and regulations and promote cooperation with local forces and Laos’ and Cambodia’s localities to firmly defend political security and defense in border areas.
