General Dung made that request while leading a MR2 mission to inspect these units’ implementation of the directive.

The mission was briefed that the units have actively built determination will and uphold troops’ responsibility for accomplishing assigned missions. They have also checked and adjusted forces and vehicles, perfected and practiced combat plans, well prepared presents and food for their troops to enjoy a happy, safe, economical Tet holiday, and presented Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries in the units and the localities where they are stationed.

Apart from above request, General Dung asked the units to heighten vigilance, strictly observe combat readiness-related duties, be active in dealing with any circumstances, ensure safety for personnel and equipment during Tet holiday and promote emulation movements focusing on improving educational quality, observing discipline, and strengthening solidarity, as well as prepare facilities to staff and train recruits of 2017.

On the occasion, General Dung presented gifts of MR2’s Party Committee and Command and extended Tet greetings to the units’ cadres and troops.
