Transporting gifts to troops on Toc Tan Island. |
The gifts, mostly including food and necessities, are to help them enjoy a warm Tet (Lunar New Year) festival in 2015.
It took the mission two days to carry the gifts to troops on three islets A, B and C of the island due to rough sea and strong waves.
Major Bui Van Tien, Head of Toc Tan Island, held that these gifts held the warm sentiment of the people from the mainland to those who are protecting national sovereignty over seas and islands.
