MND leader visits Major General Nguyen Tu
PANO - General Ngo Xuan Lich, Politburo's member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Defense Minister, on November 16 visited and congratulated Major General, Dr. Nguyen Tu, Hero of the People’s Armed Forces, former Deputy Director of the Military Medical University, on the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
On behalf of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, Gen. Lich congratulated and expressed his gratitude to Gen. Tu, teachers, and educational management staff who have greatly contributed to the training and education cause in the military to meet the requirements of the country’s struggle for national liberation in the past and the cause of building and defending the country in the current context.

The general emphasized that the dedication of Gen. Tu to the training of military medical personnel have contributed to building a strong military medical staff and that he has left valuable experiences in education and training and research on the development of the military medicine. Gen. Nguyen Tu is seen as a good example for generations of military instructors to follow, added Gen. Lich.
Gen. Lich also wished Gen. Tu and military instructors health and longevity and hoped they would continue to devote to the country’s education sector and scientific research, contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and gradually-modernized military, firmly defending the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
