* Brigade 972 under the Department of Transportation of the General Department of Logistics held a Chung cake making and Tet decoration contest for its troops. This was an important event during its “Welcoming the new spring and the new age of the Party” emulation movement.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Van Thai, Deputy Political Commissar of the brigade, noted that the contest aimed to evaluate the logistics sector as well as leadership capability of leaders at all levels on the occasion of the traditional Tet. It was also an occasion to promote emulation drives in the units, enhance political education and raise troops’ awareness of combat readiness and determination to fulfill assigned missions in 2024, while organizing Tet for troops with absolute safety.

During the contest, participants closely worked together to ensure the contest’s regulations.

Concluding the event, the organizing panel awarded the winners.

* Earlier, the Coast Guard Region 3 Command held a Chung cake making contest on the occasion of Tet 2024.

The event attracted the participation of four teams from the region’s affiliated units. The participants had 60 minutes to complete their cakes.

As a result, the organizing panel awarded one first, one second, and one third prizes to the participants.

After the contest, the cakes were presented to policy beneficiaries, needy people and impoverished students to bring a happy Tet holiday to them.
