Military units holds blood donation drive
PANO – The Commando Training School under the Commando Corps, in association with Military Hospital 103 under the Vietnam Military Medical Academy, held a voluntary blood donation drive on December 1.
Nearly 400 blood units were collected during the blood donation drive
More than 500 cadres, officers and soldiers of the Commando Training School registered for blood donation. At the end of the event, nearly 400 blood units were collected to meet the demand for emergency and treatment cases in hospitals.
Speaking at the event, Senior Colonel, Prof. Nguyen Van Khoa, Deputy-Director of the Military Hospital 103, affirmed that the Commando Training School has been one of the units most active in the blood donation drives over the past years.
In recent years, the two military units have also worked together to organize other voluntary blood donation drives, contributing to treating both civilians and troops, he added.
