Having been briefed on the unit’s task performance, General Tien praised their achievements over the past seven months. Accordingly, the whole unit has strictly maintained military regulations as well as combat readiness posture at all levels. They also coordinated closely with local authorities and other units in the area to fulfill assigned missions.

He also asked the corps to overcome its current shortcomings while further studying resolutions of the Party and Central Military Commission to effectively implement their assigned tasks. The unit should strictly maintain military regulations and combat readiness posture to take the initiative in any circumstances. In addition, Army Corps 3 needs to improve training quality and management capacity, contributing to building a strong and sound Party organization and comprehensively strong unit.

* On the same day, General Tien led a delegation from the VPA’s General Staff to visit Brigade 132 of the Signal Corps.

Senior Colonel Le Dung, the corps’ Deputy Commander and Chief of the Staff, together with the unit’s leadership, received the delegation.

During the visit, Colonel Vu Ngoc Khuong, Commander of the brigade, briefed the delegation on its training results over the last seven months. Accordingly, the unit maintained and built plans to ensure smooth communications among units in the military.

In addition, the unit organized training activities for its troops with good results, contributing to raising the quality of training and Party and political work.

General Tien acknowledged the unit’s good achievements over the past time.

He also asked the unit to embrace resolutions, maintain strictly military regulations and combat readiness at all levels, effectively deploy their staffed equipment in training, boost regularity building, enhance troops’ living standards, and continuously raise their political stance in the fight against “self-evolution” and “self-transformation”.
