According to Resolution No.4969 of the Ministry of National Defence, the gratitude fund of the ministry will sponsor to build houses, worth VND 70 million each, for 85 relatives of martyrs who are working in the army and facing housing difficulties.
National contributors in extreme difficulty, especially Vietnamese heroic mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, and wounded and sick soldiers, will also receive houses, worth VND 70 million each, while needy policy beneficiaries working in the army will have their houses repaired or upgraded at a cost of VND 30 million or VND 50 million each.
All support comes from the fund “Den on dap nghia” (Repaying gratitude) founded by the Ministry of National Defence. The military units will continue to support policy beneficiaries and national contributors in areas where they are stationed. What they do demonstrates the sentiment and responsibility of the armed forces to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
