Military units brace for natural disasters

In response to the coming natural disaster, the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army requested affiliate units to strictly implement Document No.468/VPTT, issued on September 7, 2022 of the Standing Office of the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention and Control. Therefore, the military units should be active in response to heavy rain, floods and landslides, prepare equipment and vehicles for the task.
In addition, they should also grasp the situation, closely work with the local authorities to provide timely support for the locals while reporting to the General Staff and the Defense Ministry.
