An overview of the event. |
Lieutenant General Nguyen Trong Binh highly appreciated the pro-active efforts of the armed forces of Military Region 4 in natural disaster prevention and control, and search and rescue operations. He also requested that in the future, the Party Committee and Command of Military Region 4 continue to thoroughly implement the resolutions, directives, and legal documents on the work. Specifically, the Party committees and chains of command at all levels should focus on raising awareness among officers, soldiers, and local citizens. They should emphasize the importance of pro-actively responding to natural disasters, considering it a key political mission and a "combat task in peacetime,” he stressed.
