PANO - The Military Region 4 Command kicked off the 4th logistics competition in 2016 at Division 324 on August 24.

Present at the opening ceremony were Major General Nguyen Tan Cuong, the region's Commander; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and head of the organizing panel, and Major General Phan Ba Dan, Deputy Director of the General Department of Logistics.

During the three-day event, over 500 logistic officers and soldiers of 16 teams will compete in categories such as staff work of logistics, military supplies, military healthcare, and barrack building, among others.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi, Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 and head of the organizing panel, stressed that the competition aims to evaluate the training quality and logistical supply work of units in the region as well as to improve their management of logistics work. In addition, it is to encourage troops to join the "Army's logistics sector following Uncle Ho's teachings" emulation movement and promote technical initiatives and innovation among them, contributing to building comprehensive strong logistics units.

The organizing board handed over flags of commemoration to participating units at the opening ceremony.
