PANO - Representatives of military press organizations agreed at a get-together on February 13th held by the Department of Transport under the General Department of Logistics to have more updated articles relating to activities of the military transport sector in 2014.

At the event, Colonel Do Thanh Phong, Political Head of the Department appreciated the coordination of the military press organizations last year and laid stressed on the updated news on missions, including conducting training, exercises, building the military transport sector, and transporting fireworks.

“The popularization contributed to encouraging cadres and troops of the department in particular and those involved in military transport in the whole army in general to overcome difficulties to fulfil all assigned tasks”, said Colonel Do Thanh Phong.

Commissar of the Department Colonel Nguyen Van Cuong said that 2014 will see many big days of the nation and the army, including the 65th founding anniversary of the department and the military transport sector; thus, the political office of the department should actively work with the military press to highlight the unit’s accomplishments.

The commissar also stressed that through the popularization, an information channel, the department’s commanders could acknowledge remaining shortcomings to be tackled.
