PANO – The Military Medical Academy fulfilled their tasks on education and training, scientific research, treatment and building a regular unit, effectively making contributions to developing human resources and potentials to the army and national health sector, as stated by delegates at a ceremony to review the movement “Determination to Win” in the school year of 2011-2012 of the Military Medical Academy on September 28th.

Over the last year, the unit increasingly bettered its curriculum and promoted teaching and learning methods for 200 classes with a total 9,000 students. At the end, all trainees’ results met requirements.

Besides, the Academy jointly worked with military and civil institutes and hospitals in fields of organ transplant and pharmacy as well as successfully held professional seminars with German and Singaporean partners and the Hanoi Medical University.

Military Hospital 103, the Le Huu Trac National Hospital for Burns, and the Embryonic Tissues Center, under the Military Medical Academy, provided check-ups for 304,000 people and treated 60,000 patients.

For these achievements, in the school year of 2011-2012, many individuals and subordinate units of the Military Medical Academy received noble orders, flags of emulation, and certificates of merit by the Party, State and Defence Ministry.
