Military hospitals conduct COVID-19 vaccination drive for troops
PANO – Hospitals and the two Institutes of Preventive Medicine of the military have recently simultaneously launched the first phase of a COVID-19 vaccination drive for troops, announced the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics on April 1.
To ensure safety, medical workers involved in the vaccinations are trained, have certificates on vaccine safety basics, and follow the professional instructions from the Ministry of Health on COVID-19 Vaccine AstraZeneca .

In the first phase of the vaccination drive, 20,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine are given to seven forces, including military personnel in quarantine areas, troops in border areas, and so on. Previously, Military Hospital 175, Army Corps 11 and Army Corps 1 vaccinated over 800 military personnel.
* The same day, the Tay Ninh Provincial Border Guard Command in association with Military Hospital 175 and the Department of Military Medicine under the General Department of Logistics conducted a COVID-19 vaccination drive for nearly 900 troops who are on duty in the border areas of Tay Ninh province. The troops were closely monitored after the vaccination.
* On April 1, the Department of Logistics under Military Region 4 directed Military Hospitals 4 and 268 to give COVID-19 vaccinations to personnel who are on duty in the quarantine areas managed by the military region and at high risk of infection at the two hospitals.
